The LAPP Smart Charging Cable (SCC) is an innovative DC charging cable solution designed to optimize the infrastructure of electric commercial vehicle fleets. With lengths of up to 100 meters, the SCC enables greater flexibility in depot and loading dock design while significantly reducing infrastructure requirements.
This extended reach is made possible by the CCS2 Smart Charging Connector with an integrated control board, allowing direct communication between electric vehicles and a centralized power supply unit. Reliable and high-performance data transmission is ensured through the integration of the proven LAPP ETHERLINE® data communication technology directly into the charging cable.

Depot charging
An electric bus or truck fleet does not necessarily require more space in the depot. With a simple overhead charging infrastructure and the SCC, all electric vehicles can be charged via a single power supply unit.
